Job summary

Associated Bank is seeking a Portfolio Relationship Manager to own growing lending opportunities, lead underwriting, and drive portfolio growth. You will collaborate with sponsors, financial institutions, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution from origination to funding.

You will mentor portfolio managers, develop talent, and navigate complex credit structuring in data center financing. Strong analytical and relationship skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in credit underwriting, financial analysis, and portfolio management.
• 2+ years of industry knowledge in data centers, infrastructure, or commercial lending.
• 2+ years of expertise in financial modeling, risk assessment, and loan structuring.
• 2+ years of proven ability to manage client relationships and negotiate deal terms.

Responsibilities

• Be a Dealmaker – source, structure, and execute new lending opportunities with sponsors and financial institutions.
• Own the Credit Process – lead underwriting and credit approval to align with risk framework.
• Manage High-Value Portfolios – oversee loans, modifications, compliance tracking, and financial analysis.
• Build Key Relationships – act as the central contact for borrowers, sponsors, and internal teams.
• Lead & Develop Talent – mentor a team of portfolio managers and drive operational excellence.
