Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Technical Team Lead to manage preventative maintenance and complex repairs within a large data center environment. You will coordinate daily activities, mentor staff, and align with CBRE RISE values to drive project success.

Responsibilities include overseeing fire/life safety systems, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining strong communication with tenants and stakeholders. Strong technical and leadership skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or equivalent in a technical discipline; journeyman or HVAC license preferred.
• Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring and rewarding performance.
• Ability to convey performance expectations and handle problems; knowledge of safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
• Implement improvements for preventive maintenance programs and maintain maintenance manuals.
• Coordinate maintenance with outside contractors and tenant finish personnel.
• Oversee building systems including fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical issues.
• Maintain communication with tenants, clients, owners, facilities team, and vendors; respond to emergencies.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values to reach shared objectives.
• Apply disciplinary knowledge to achieve team and department goals.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.
