Job summary

DSV is seeking a Data Center Team Lead – Dock for the E-Shift with Thu-Fri 10:00pm-6:30am and Sat-Sun 6:00pm-6:30am shifts in New Albany, OH. The role centers on managing material orders, customer service, and inventory at the datacenter while assembling and installing servers and components using various tools.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
• Critical thinking abilities and strong analytical skills are needed in this role.
• Experience with computers is required in this role.
• 3-5 years of related experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers, including the management of shipping documents and records.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, verifying part numbers and quantities and ensuring PRISTINE condition.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site at the datacenter.
• Process return shipments of various electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems.
• Oversee server racks placement on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with high accuracy.
• Install and cable electronic components into server racks following diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools.
• Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards; ensure punctuality and reliability.
