Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Instrument and Controls Designer in the United States to develop P&ID diagrams following ANSI/ISA S5.1, and panel design including layouts and wiring diagrams. You will work on data center, semiconductor, and other manufacturing facilities, developing 3D models and 2D drawings while collaborating with global teams.

You’ll manage project schedules, prepare reports, and communicate effectively; health benefits and a base salary are offered with a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering.
• Experience in instrumentation and controls.
• Familiarity with P&ID diagrams (P&IDs).
• 2+ years of BIM design experience.
• Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects designing data center, semiconductor, and other facilities.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems.
• Collaborate within global multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects.
