Job summary

Jacobs is hiring an Instrument and Controls Designer to develop P&ID diagrams, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams for data centers, semiconductors, and other facilities. You will collaborate with global teams to deliver world‑class designs and manage multiple projects with strong organizational skills.

This role supports Jacobs' hybrid work policy and involves designing within Advanced Facilities, ensuring timely reports and compliant documentation across projects worldwide.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of BIM design experience.
• Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects designing state-of-the-art data center, semiconductor, and other manufacturing facilities
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems
• Work within global multidisciplinary teams
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects
