Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Instrument and Controls Designer to contribute to state-of-the-art data center and manufacturing facility projects across the United States. The role involves creating P&ID diagrams, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams while coordinating with global teams on challenging schedules.

You will develop 3D models and 2D drawings for control systems, leveraging BIM tools and engineering knowledge to deliver accurate reports and design deliverables.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of BIM design experience.
• Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Associates Degree in Drafting or Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects designing state-of-the-art data center, semiconductor, and other manufacturing facilities
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems
• Work within global multidisciplinary teams
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects
