Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Instrument and Controls Designer to contribute to data center, semiconductor and manufacturing facility projects. You will create P&ID diagrams per ANSI/ISA S5.1 and develop panel layouts and wiring diagrams within a global team.

You’ll manage demanding schedules, prepare accurate reports, and collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams. The role offers hybrid work across Jacobs offices and remote locations in the United States, with growth opportunities and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering.
• Experience in instrumentation and controls.
• Familiarity with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• 2+ years BIM design experience.
• Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects designing state-of-the-art data center, semiconductor, and other manufacturing facilities.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems.
• Work within global multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects.
