Job summary

Americase is seeking an Inside Sales Account Manager at our Waxahachie, TX location to grow and support data center accounts. You will combine consultative selling with precise order execution and act as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, handling inquiries, quotes, and order processing.

You will coordinate with sales, engineering, operations, and logistics teams to manage orders, pricing, and delivery timelines while identifying upsell opportunities and building strong client

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in account management, inside sales, customer service, order management, supply chain, logistics, or a related B2B environment.
• Demonstrated experience processing customer purchase orders, validating pricing and terms, entering orders in an ERP system, issuing acknowledgments, managing changes and releases, scheduling shipments, and resolving order discrepancies.
• Proven inside sales ability to uncover client needs, recommend products and services, support quotations, overcome routine objections, follow up consistently, and grow revenue.
• Ability to interpret purchase orders, bills of material, drawings, specifications, packing lists, and shipping documents.

Responsibilities

• Purchase Order Processing: verify part numbers, quantities, pricing, taxes, freight terms, ship-to locations, dates, and special instructions; resolve discrepancies and enter orders accurately.
• Order Management: manage revisions, releases, backorders, and closeout with an audit trail; fulfill requests within one business day when possible.
• Inbound Requests and Quoting: respond to inquiries, clarify scope and pricing, prepare or coordinate quotations, and follow up on open quotes.
• Order Conversion: convert accepted proposals into accurate sales orders.
• Relationship Development: build long-term relationships with purchasing contacts, project managers, and operations teams through responsive service and timely updates.
• Account Growth: engage data center clients via phone and email to uncover needs and pursue upsell/cross-sell opportunities in materials, components, shipping cases, packaging, and logistics.
• Delivery Execution: confirm ship-to details, appointments, access, staging plans, carrier selection, tracking, and proof of delivery.
• Documentation: maintain accurate customer records, BOMs, packing lists, bills of lading, RAs, and order history.
