Job summary

QTS Data Centers in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a seasoned Project Manager II – Infrastructure to plan, manage and deliver internal IT projects on time and within budget. You will coordinate across Systems Engineers, Network Engineers, Data Centre Technicians and other stakeholders in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of IT/PM experience, strong communication and organization skills, and deep knowledge of data centre concepts like power, cooling and connectivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Seven+ years of IT/PM, service delivery or CRM experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience building detailed technical project plans.

Responsibilities

• Works with systems and network engineering teams to complete technical discovery
• Applies project management expertise to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services
• Collaborates with team managers and resources to identify project approach, deliverables, tasks and resources required to complete a project
• Develops and actively manage project plans, identifying phases, tasks, resources and due dates
• Reviews proposed changes to project plans with stakeholders for approval
• Manages multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment and completes them on time
• Monitors and reports on project status to Upper Management, including issues, risks and escalations
• Continually develops and improves internal processes and documentation
