Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager for its Data Center Incidents and Availability (DCIA) team in the United States. You will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from requirements to delivery, collaborating with engineers, SREs, and global stakeholders.

The role focuses on reducing incidents, delivering postmortems, and enabling DCOps with tools, templates, and training to prevent and mitigate issues. Strong data center knowledge and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program management.
• Experience in data center power and cooling infrastructure.
• Experience with root cause analysis (RCA).

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end incident management process, from real-time response to scalable RCA findings and corrective actions.
• Participate in on-call rotation supporting critical incident response.
• Liaison with regional counterparts and program owners to ensure global collaboration.
• Coordinate with campus members, Tech Incident Response Team, network security, and crisis management groups.
