Job summary

Meade is a full-service design firm seeking an ICT Infrastructure Design Engineer I (Low Voltage) to join our Engineering team. You will design network infrastructure for data centers and mission-critical facilities, creating fiber/copper backbone routing, rack elevations, conduit systems, and Revit-based construction drawings.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in ICT/structured cabling design, a bachelor’s in electrical engineering, and proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD.

Qualifications

2+ years of ICT/structured cabling design or network infrastructure design.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
RCDD preferred — not a software/IT networking role.
Knowledge of network architecture and infrastructure design principles.
Experience with data center environments.
Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD, BIM coordination, and construction drawings.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Design ICT and network infrastructure systems, including structured cabling and pathways.
Develop LAN/WAN topology diagrams and physical infrastructure layouts.
Produce construction drawings, cable routing, and rack elevations.
Design SEF infrastructure, fiber vaults, conduits, and outside plant layouts.
Coordinate ICT with electrical, mechanical, and other disciplines.
Prepare BIM-coordinated ICT models and related deliverables.
Support design reviews, site visits, and RFIs; review submittals.
