Meade is a full-service design firm specializing in innovative and cost-efficient engineering solutions for data centers, cloud providers, and large-scale construction projects. This role focuses on physical infrastructure design, cabling, pathways, and telecom rooms using Revit and BIM workflows.

The ICT Infrastructure Design Engineer I will design network infrastructure for mission-critical facilities, collaborate across disciplines, and deliver coordinated construction drawings and rack

Qualifications

• 2+ years in ICT/structured cabling design or network infrastructure design.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• RCDD certification preferred — this is not a software/IT networking position.
• Knowledge of network architecture and infrastructure design principles.
• Experience with data center environments and related standards (BICSI, TIA/EIA).

Responsibilities

• Design ICT and network infrastructure systems including structured cabling (fiber and copper) and telecommunications pathways.
• Create LAN/WAN topology diagrams, logical network layouts, and physical infrastructure design with cable routing and pathway layouts.
• Produce construction drawings, cable routing, pathway layouts, equipment schedules, and rack elevations.
• Develop passive infrastructure including fiber backbone systems, copper cabling, and cross-connect configurations.
• Coordinate ICT systems with electrical, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines.
• Prepare BIM-coordinated ICT models and project documentation.
