Job summary
Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC Mechanics to join our Data Center Service Team in North America. You will work on light to heavy commercial equipment, troubleshoot complex HVAC systems, and participate in ongoing training through our STA program.
You will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial cooling systems, plus providing quotes and recommendations to improve facility efficiency while prioritizing safety and customer service.
Qualifications
- Minimum of eight years commercial/industrial mechanical troubleshooting in HVAC or data center environments.
- Ability to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, screw chillers, and ammonia/hydrocarbon components.
- Willingness to travel 10–20% to support branch activities.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair and replacement on commercial HVACR systems.
- Install complete systems including chillers, ROO, plumbing and supporting mechanical systems.
- Provide quotes to customers and assist with sales quotes.
- Participate in training programs through the Service Technical Academy (STA).
- Maintain safety training and adhere to safety protocols.
