Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Data Center HVAC Foreman to lead critical HVAC operations in a data center environment. You will guide technicians, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure uptime, safety, and regulatory compliance on customer sites.

You will develop technical expertise, support estimating for labor and materials, and communicate findings to customers to drive informed decisions on upgrades and repairs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience coaching, coordinating, or supervising technicians.
• Strong HVAC and mechanical systems expertise in data center environments preferred.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating others on customer sites.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC and building systems in high-availability data centers.
• Mentor and coach branch technicians to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Provide Level 1 technical support and serve as a resource for complex issues.
• Ensure all work complies with federal, state, and local requirements and safety standards.
• Deliver clear service documentation and communicate findings to customers.
• Identify inefficiencies and propose upgrades or repairs with value-driven recommendations.
