Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an HVAC Controls Systems Data Center Team Lead to manage remote projects with up to 20% travel. You will lead design, programming, commissioning, and closeout while ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

The role demands strong leadership, deep HVAC controls knowledge, and the ability to drive projects across multi-disciplinary teams within a global building technologies leader.

Qualifications

• Technical associate degree required.
• 1–3 years of related field experience in HVAC/Controls or Building Automation Systems.
• Ability to communicate technical material to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and lead projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and complete control systems projects with assigned customers.
• Lead hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, commissioning and closeout.
• Manage project financials including costs, billings, and collections.
• Coordinate with customers, subcontractors and project engineers to deliver cost‑effective solutions.
• Provide coaching and technical assistance to technicians and designers.
