Job summary

Johnson Controls Inc. is seeking skilled HVAC Mechanics to support light and heavy commercial service across North America. You will work with teams on installation, maintenance and repair of commercial systems, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

The role offers opportunities for STA-certified advancement, tools and a company vehicle, with travel up to 20%. A union affiliation and valid credentials are required for this bargaining unit position.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience.
EPA refrigerants license and state/local licensing.
Must be member or willing to join United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry.
Ability to travel 10–20% to support Branch activities.
Able to install complete systems including Chillers and Rooftop Units.
Strong written and verbal communication with customers and technicians.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
Provide quotes to customers and participate in JCI's Service Plus Rewards program.
Upsell opportunities and provide solutions to ensure facility runs efficiently during commissioning and aftermarket service.
