Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC mechanics to support fast-growing commercial and industrial HVAC services. You will work on light to heavy commercial teams with advanced heavy equipment, focusing on installation, maintenance, and repair while upholding safety and quality standards.

We offer factory certification through our STA, opportunities for advancement, and a company vehicle for field service. Travel up to 20% may be required to support branch customers and installations.

Qualifications

• Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO.
• Minimum of eight (8) years commercial and/or industrial, mechanical troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry and Industrial Petrochemical, or Data Center vertical environments.
• Able to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, screw chillers and/or ammonia / hydrocarbon system components.
• Universal EPA refrigerants license, applicable state or local licensing, and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
• Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions to customers.
• Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve facility inefficiencies and resolve service-related items.
