Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. is seeking an entry‑level HVAC apprentice to join our team and work with skilled Journeyman HVAC Mechanics.

The role offers training through the Service Technical Academy (STA), with milestones, rewards and progression, plus a company vehicle and tools to perform the job to the highest standard. You will begin with mentorship and hands‑on training, with opportunities to advance as you gain experience in commercial heating and cooling systems.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Computer savvy with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a good driving record.
• Preferred One (1) year of work experience in the HVAC industry or HVAC education courses.

Responsibilities

• Work with Journeyman HVAC Mechanics in commercial and industrial equipment settings.
• Training provided through mentors, in-person classes and an online training course.
• Perform maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
