Job summary

Johnson Controls invites applicants for an entry-level HVAC apprentice role. You will learn under Journeyman HVAC Mechanics, gain hands-on experience in commercial and industrial systems, and participate in mentor-led training and classes through our Service Technical Academy.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Computer savvy with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a good driving record.
• Preferred one year of work experience or HVAC education courses.

Responsibilities

• Learn from Journeyman HVAC Mechanics in commercial and industrial settings.
• Training provided via mentors, in-person classes and an online course.
• Perform maintenance, repair and replacement on commercial heating and cooling systems.
• Contribute to safety and efficiency standards on site.
