Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. seeks an entry-level HVAC systems apprentice to join our team. You’ll train with Journeyman HVAC Mechanics in commercial/industrial settings and earn factory certification through our STA program with milestone rewards.

You’ll receive tools and a vehicle to perform your duties, with emphasis on safety and hands-on learning, mentoring, and advancement opportunities within the local labor union.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Computer savvy with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a good driving record

Responsibilities

• Work with Journeyman HVAC Mechanics in commercial and industrial equipment settings.
• Training provided through mentors, in-person classes and an online training course.
• Perform maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
