Job summary

Sundt Construction in Texas seeks a Project HSE Manager to lead health and safety programs on our projects. The role progresses through three steps (I, II, Sr.) to grow from entry to senior level, reporting within the project team and serving as a safety resource.

Responsibilities include conducting safety walks, creating and maintaining project Environmental and Safety Management Plans, handling emergencies and incidents, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• At least one year of full-time project safety experience.
• Bi-lingual preferred.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Conducts frequent safety walks/inspections of the project and adjacent property.
• Conducts site-specific safety orientations.
• Creates, updates, maintains, and facilitates the Project Environmental Management Plan.
• Creates, updates, maintains, and facilitates the Project Safety Management Plan.
• Facilitates the Sundt Safety Management and Illness Prevention Systems Manual on the project.
• Manages emergencies, incidents, and worker's compensation claims.
• Reviews and files project safety documentation.
