Zantaz Data Resources LLC is seeking a hands-on Data Center Management and Logix Hosting Support professional to maintain physical infrastructure and remotely managed systems powering enterprise hosting services in Maryland.

The role blends data center engineering with remote systems administration, infrastructure monitoring, incident resolution, and AI-driven automation to improve reliability. 80% remote, 20% on-site, with strong focus on security and SOC 2 aligned practices.

Qualifications

Proven hands-on experience in data center operations or enterprise hosting environments.
Practical Windows Server and Linux administration skills incl. patching, configuration, troubleshooting, and recovery.
Knowledge of networking, storage, virtualization, server hardware and remote infrastructure management.
Experience installing, maintaining and replacing server components and cabling.
Ability to diagnose hardware failures and dependencies across physical/virtual environments.
Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, change management and security procedures.
Experience documenting hardware inventories, capacity plans and operational records.
Strong organizational and communication skills; able to work independently with remote teams.
Experience with automation, AI-assisted diagnostics or workflows.

Responsibilities

Hardware Management: Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, racks, storage, and networking infrastructure.
On-Site Maintenance: Perform rack-and-stack operations, cabling, diagnostics, and component replacements.
Equipment & Logistics: Manage inventory, spare parts, procurement, receiving, shipping and replacement planning.
Capacity Planning: Monitor power, rack space, storage, utilization and lifecycle requirements.
Documentation & Asset Management: Maintain inventories, diagrams, dependency maps and maintenance records.
Systems Administration: Remotely administer Windows and Linux servers, VMs and hosting environments.
Monitoring & Maintenance: Monitor health, apply patches, updates and configuration changes.
Incident Resolution: Diagnose failures and coordinate with specialists.
Service Recovery & Continuity: Support backups, DR testing and rollback procedures.
Security & Compliance: Ensure secure, patched environments aligned with SOC2 controls.
