Zscaler is seeking a Sr. Data Center Operations Engineer to join the Cloud Operations team. This remote role, based in Houston, TX, will deploy, maintain, and scale production data center infrastructure, working with engineering teams and third-party Remote Hands to ensure high availability.

You will troubleshoot hardware and network faults, manage asset documentation, and travel up to 50% to supporting sites worldwide, while leveraging AI-enabled tools to streamline operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in production data center environments
• Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools for diagnostics or automation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform hands-on deployments

Responsibilities

• Execute rack-and-stack deployments across production data centers
• Troubleshoot and remediate hardware/network faults; replace components
• Coordinate with engineering teams, system owners, and remote hands vendors
• Maintain asset tracking and documentation; travel up to 50% domestically/internationally
