Job summary

NEI Electric Power Engineering seeks a Director in MC&I to lead Data Center market initiatives, grow the client base, and build technical capability. The role partners with leadership to align staffing capacity, delivery capability, and strategic growth, while driving EBITDA and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in engineering or related roles, PE preferred, and strong data center knowledge.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s in engineering from an accredited institution.
• Experience: 10+ years of relevant engineering or field experience.
• Business Experience: 5+ years of relevant business experience.
• Licensure: PE is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering in the Data Center industry.
• Experience delivering engineering design packages.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on and execute a focused Data Center go-to-market plan; set revenue, margin, and client goals.
• Identify and launch new scopes and services to serve the Data Center market.
• Form, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships to scale delivery capacity.
• Drive strategy for industry involvement at conferences, standards bodies, and trade groups.
• Serve as engineering leadership contact for top Data Center accounts; collaborate on client plans.
• Drive pipeline health and bid opportunities with pricing discipline and risk awareness.
• Maintain superior Client NPS through proactive communication and outcomes.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workload forecasting across teams.
