Job summary

LJB Inc. in Charlotte, NC seeks a Data Center Market Leader / Senior Project Manager to grow the firm’s data center portfolio. You’ll develop strategy, lead client relationships, and manage profitable, mission‑critical projects with multidisciplinary teams.

You will mentor PMs, lead proposals, set scope, schedules and budgets, and ensure quality and compliance. Domestic travel is required; PE licensure is essential and a Master’s is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of structural engineering experience.
• At least 5 years of project management responsibility in a consulting/engineering environment.
• PE licensure required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic plan to expand the firm’s presence in the data center market.
• Lead proposals, scopes of work, schedules, fees, and terms.
• Mentor project manager teammates and oversee multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage project budgets, staffing plans, and deliverables.
• Travel within the United States for client meetings and site visits.
