Job summary

E2 Optics in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead data center construction initiatives. You will manage schedules, costs, contracts, and vendor relationships while guiding client communication and ensuring on-time delivery within budget.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, and coordination across teams in fast-paced environments. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience in large-scale builds, PMP/BICSI credentials preferred, and the ability to travel as needed to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with experience; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• PMP certification and BICSI credentials preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of PM experience in commercial/data center construction and GMP contracts.
• Experience managing large-scale client projects and complex budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead project scheduling, cost control, and contract management to meet requirements.
• Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships; streamline activities for efficiency.
• Provide progress reports and coordinate with client teams and internal staff.
• Prepare change orders with PE/SI and manage to approved tools and SLAs.
• Monitor installation efforts to ensure on-time delivery within budget.
• Collaborate with QA/QC to meet client quality plans and safety standards.
• Track cost/profitability and ensure projects align with master schedules.
• Represent the company in client meetings and required briefings.
