Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to support its rapidly growing Data Center practice in the United States. You will design fire protection systems for mission-critical facilities, perform code analyses, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure reliability and compliance.

You will collaborate with clients, AHJs, and project teams to meet stringent safety and performance requirements. A PE license and 5+ years of experience in data-center environments are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fire protection engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design fire protection systems for Data Center and mission-critical facilities.
• Perform code analyses using NFPA, IBC, IFC, and FM Global standards.
• Lead design reviews and QA/QC across multiple projects.
