Jacobs seeks a Fire Protection Engineer to support its rapidly growing Data Center practice across the United States. You will design fire protection systems, perform code analyses, and ensure life-safety compliance for mission-critical facilities.

In collaboration with clients, architects, engineers, and AHJs, you will develop design criteria, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and help shape fire protection standards for hyperscale data centers.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of fire protection engineering experience.
• PE license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.

Aufgaben

• Lead Fire Protection Engineer for Data Center and Mission Critical projects.
• Provide fire protection design, code analysis, and life safety engineering.
• Establish design criteria, basis of design reports, and technical standards.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, structural, civil, and architectural disciplines.
• Interface with clients, AHJs, and insurers to obtain approvals and resolve issues.
• Support business development within the Data Center market.
