Job summary

Ericsson in Maumee, Ohio, is seeking a Data Center Technician to coordinate field service activities and ensure SLA-aligned performance. The role focuses on safety, site operations, and activation/deactivation of on-site services, with a strong emphasis on coordinating with landlords and third-party vendors.

The candidate will perform risk assessments, PPE enforcement, and data collection for maintenance optimization, while upholding MS OHS guidelines in a hands-on field environment.

Qualifications

• Occupational health and safety knowledge required.
• Physical site access management experience preferred.
• Site handling and facility management exposure.
• Preventive maintenance and safety audits experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute corrective maintenance activities at data center sites.
• Conduct visual workspace safety inspections and PPE compliance.
• Prepare risk assessments and ensure PPE usage.
• Coordinate with onsite landlords and manage site environment.
• Report incidents and near misses promptly in the tracking tool.
• Supervise third party activities and intervene during unsafe behavior.
• Handle activation/deactivation of on-site services.
• Collect data for optimization and perform preventive maintenance.
• Manage spare parts logistics and inventory interface.
• Control site access and enforce security policies.
• Adhere to OHS framework and perform safety audits.
