Job summary

Nortek Data Center Cooling is seeking a Service Technician – Data Center Service to support warranty-related service issues for our Datacenter product line. You will provide service, guidance and technical expertise to end users and outside sales representatives.

The role requires hands-on engineering work, travel up to 85% to various job sites, and a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting; HVAC servicing or similar electromechanical experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and manuals.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on exceeding expectations.

Responsibilities

• Commission, repair, and service mechanical and electrical equipment for Data Center projects.
• Review work orders, blueprints, diagrams and related materials to determine tasks and parts.
• Consult with engineering and manufacturing to resolve unusual problems in system operation and maintenance.
• Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers while maintaining a professional appearance.
