Job summary

F6 Data Solutions is seeking a Field Operations Manager-Data Center (HVAC) to lead a hybrid team responsible for the performance, development, and readiness of field personnel. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and profitability while aligning workforce planning with project needs across data-center environments.

The position requires strong leadership in technical field-service settings, collaboration with project managers and Site Leads, and ability to drive coaching plans and succession

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading technical field-service personnel in HVAC, mechanical systems, commissioning, industrial equipment, data centers, or a comparable technical environment.
• Experience interviewing, selecting, and developing technical employees.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the performance and accountability of assigned field employees.
• Establish clear expectations for performance, professionalism, attendance, safety, and conduct.
• Conduct regular employee check-ins, performance discussions, and formal reviews.
• Partner with HR on disciplinary actions and improvements.
• Coach Site Leads on workforce leadership, accountability, communication, and safety.
• Determine staffing and deployment in coordination with project requirements.
