Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician in Gilroy, CA. The role focuses on hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance, monitoring critical facility systems, and ensuring 24/7 reliability for mission-critical data center infrastructure.

You will perform rack installs and decommissioning, PM and root-cause analysis, and coordinate with contractors on-site. Shifts can be up to 12 hours with potential site rotations; relocation stipend noted.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products experience.
• Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire safety equipment.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and EPMS.
• Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within SLA.
