Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Ohio's Plain City region seeks a Data Center Engineering Technician to safeguard mission-critical infrastructure, perform 24/7 maintenance, and help keep the cloud running reliably.

You will monitor electrical and mechanical systems, assist with troubleshooting, participate in PMs, and support on-site operations across multiple facilities. This role requires flexible shifts, travel between sites, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, or holidays in a 24/7/365 environment.

Responsibilities

• Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and life safety equipment.
• Monitor Building Management Systems and Electrical Power Management System.
• Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within SLAs.
