Job summary

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 1+ years of electrical facilities maintenance or 1+ years of mechanical facilities.
• 2+ years of data center engineering experience (preferred).
• Experience reading and writing procedures, technical documents, and engineering drawings (preferred).
• Associate's degree in related field or technical degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems.
• Monitor Building Management Systems and Power Management System.
• Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within SLAs.
• Perform rack installs and decommissioning within SLA.
• PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of equipment.
• Technical writing to support change management program.
• Manage daily work requests and drive projects from concept to completion.
• On-site support of contractors and vendors ensuring compliance with practices and local laws.
