Job summary

Amazon in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking an Engineering Operations Technician for the DCC Communities. You will be on the front lines maintaining and troubleshooting mission-critical data center facilities, including power, cooling, and fire/life safety systems.

The role requires 1+ year in electrical or mechanical work or data center facilities, a high school diploma, and the ability to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of electrical or mechanical, or data center facilities experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends.
• 1+ year experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
• Monitor BMS and EPMS.
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events.
• Perform rack installs and decommissioning under SLA.
• PM, troubleshooting, repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Support on-site contractors and vendors.
