Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical facility equipment, including diesel generators and 3-phase electrical systems, UPS, PDUs, and cooling systems.

This hands-on role requires travel between data centers, the ability to work up to 12-hour shifts, and on-site support for contractors and vendors. Relocation stipend is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

1+ years electrical facilities maintenance experience.
1+ years mechanical facilities maintenance experience.
Ability to read and write procedures and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within SLAs.
Perform rack installs and decommissions within SLA.
PM, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and repair of electrical/mechanical equipment.
Technical writing to support change management.
Manage daily work requests and drive projects from conception to completion.
On-site support of contractors, subcontractors and vendors per practices and local law.
