Job summary

Aligned Data Centers, LLC is seeking a Critical Facilities Technician in Sandusky, OH to monitor and maintain 24x7 facility systems. You will work under the Facility Manager, performing preventive, predictive, and corrective tasks on mechanical and electrical equipment.

The role involves HVAC, electrical, and life-safety system duties, with opportunities to coordinate with contractors and vendors. Overtime and long shifts are possible; hourly pay ranges from $35 to $47.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years of experience in electrical or mechanical critical facilities support, or 7+ years in HVAC/mechanical/electrical roles.
• Electrical/Mechanical certifications preferred.
• Ability to work overtime and extended shifts (12 hours).

Responsibilities

• Maintains and monitors preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical equipment.
• Oversees operation and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, generators, fire detection/suppression, life safety, BMS, and digital systems.
• Manages electrical operations, maintenance, and energy management programs for a critical facilities environment.
• Receives and closes work orders for preventive and corrective maintenance; ensures documentation in CMMS.
• Responds to emergencies and customer concerns; coordinates with supervisors and contractors as needed.
