Job summary

Aligned Data Centers, LLC is seeking a Critical Facilities Technician in Chicago to support 24x7 facility operations. You will work under the Facility Manager, performing maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, generators, life safety, and building management systems.

The role requires hands-on analysis, preventive and corrective maintenance, and coordination with contractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• 3-5 years' experience in electrical or mechanical critical facilities support, or 7+ years in HVAC/mechanical/electrical tech.
• Electrical/Mechanical certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Oversee electrical operations, maintenance, and energy management programs for a critical facilities environment.
• Coordinate with supervisors and third-party contractors to complete maintenance tasks.
