Job summary

CloudHQ, LLC is seeking a Facilities Assistant to join the Operations Team at our Manassas, VA data center. You will support day-to-day facility operations, assist with minor modifications, and help maintain a secure, reliable environment for critical infrastructure.

The role requires carpentry, painting, and general mechanical skills, plus comfort with MS Office. You will work with managers to maintain logs, obtain quotes, schedule repairs, and ensure safety and readiness of the facility.

Qualifications

• Two+ years in facilities/operations is required.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Strong problem-solving, technical and organizational skills.
• Willing to solicit feedback to ensure responsibilities meet expectations.
• Experience in carpentry, painting and general mechanical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day facility operations.
• Assist with minor facility modifications.
• Assist as a security monitor.
• Assist with shipping and receiving.
• Maintain facility logs and filing records.
• Obtain facility price quotes and bid proposals.
• Schedule repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Clean and maintain the facility.
• Use standard hand tools.
• Assist with HVAC and electrical systems upkeep.
• Keep work areas neat and safe.
• Travel locally as required.
• Maintain supply records and monthly resupply lists.
• Perform daily and monthly inspections.
