Job summary

Aligned Data Centers, LLC in Sterling, VA is seeking a Facilities Technician to support 24x7 operations of a mission-critical data center. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, monitor building management software, and coordinate with contractors to keep infrastructure running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience in electrical or mechanical facilities, a high school diploma, and the ability to work shift schedules

Qualifications

• High school diploma and minimum 1-3 years’ experience in electrical or mechanical critical facilities support.
• Electrical/Mechanical certifications preferred.
• Overtime and longer shifts may be required; 12 hour shifts possible.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, monitors, and performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Operate and monitor HVAC, electrical systems, and building management systems.
• Receive and execute work orders; coordinate with supervisors and contractors for materials and tasks.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure safe, compliant operation of equipment.
