Job summary

CloudHQ, LLC is seeking an Assistant Mechanical Manager with a solid background in data center mechanical plant operations. The role requires coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure uninterrupted critical loads and uptime across multiple DC sites.

A minimum of three years in a high‑reliability data center environment and a Mechanical Engineering Technology degree or equivalent are preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years of professional experience in operations and maintenance in a high-reliability Data Center environment.
• Mechanical Engineering Technology Degree or equivalent.
• Experience with reading design documents and ANSI/industry standards.
• Strong written communication and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop operating and maintenance strategies to ensure continuous availability of critical systems.
• Develop preventative and predictive maintenance programs for essential equipment.
• Create procedures and maintenance checklists within the sites CMMS platform.
• Coordinate and inspect services performed by outsourced vendors.
• Manage costs and budgets associated with Mechanical operations.
• Ensure safety measures and inspections are up to date.
