Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Critical Facilities Engineering Manager to lead the facility maintenance team for a mission-critical data center environment in the United States.

The role requires coordinating schedules, managing budgets and submittals, and ensuring safe, compliant operations 24/7 across electrical, mechanical, and emergency power systems. Strong leadership in US Government contract O&M is essential, with a background in electrical and HVAC trades.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma and 10+ years of experience, with at least 5+ years in related trades.
• Experience supervising teams in US Government contract O&M services.
• Licenses/certifications focused on electrical, HVAC are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 24/7 data center facility operations, ensuring safety and reliability.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and submittals with accurate cost estimates.
• Direct maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and emergency power systems.
• Coordinate with customers and Program Manager for O&M activities and afterhours support.
• Lead preventive maintenance programs and energy conservation initiatives.
• Maintain O&M records and reports; manage site surveys and scopes of work.
