Job summary

CyrusOne is seeking a Facility Manager to ensure optimal performance of data center environments, systems, and personnel. The role oversees administration and maintenance functions and supports customer operations.

The position requires extensive experience with electrical and mechanical equipment, building automation, and capacity management, along with strong leadership and communication skills. Onsite work and coordination with security and operations are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years technical experience working in a High Availability data center environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Facilities Management (or related field).
• Certifications: CPE, CPMM or similar facilities-based certification preferred; U.S. Citizenship may be required for government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of cooling and electrical systems.
• Develop and document maintenance standards and procedures.
• Lead environmental monitoring and asset tracking activities.
• Coordinate with Security and Operations to address customer environmental issues.
• Oversee training and 24x7x365 rotation as needed.
