The State of South Carolina's Department of Administration, OTIS, is seeking an IT Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of state facilities and data center spaces in Columbia, SC. You will lead the OTIS Facilities Management team, coordinate with FMPS, vendors, and Admin staff to maintain electrical, HVAC, and security systems, and ensure high availability through preventive maintenance.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree and at least five years of facilities management

Qualifications

• Minimum five years as facilities manager or chief engineer at a large data center (>20,000 sq ft).
• Experience supervising facilities, electrical, cabling, and HVAC technicians.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read contractor plans, electrical diagrams and building schematics.
• Proficient with facility management software and common office software.
• Eligibility to obtain CJIS compliance.

Responsabilités

• Lead OTIS Facilities Management team and set workflows and policies.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of OTIS facilities, coordinating with vendors.
• Ensure high availability of data center spaces and preventative maintenance.
• Manage security systems, access control, and video monitoring.
• Plan and execute PM schedules and capital improvement coordination with FMPS.
