Job summary

STN Incorporated in Orangeburg, SC, seeks a Facilities Engineering Lead to drive technical leadership for critical data center infrastructure, overseeing electrical, mechanical, and building systems to maximize uptime and reliability.

You will lead maintenance programs, RCA investigations, and projects, while ensuring safety and compliance and collaborating with operations, vendors, and construction teams for resilient performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Engineering, or related discipline.
• 7+ years in critical facilities, data center operations, or mission-critical environments.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams, projects, or technical programs.
• Strong knowledge of critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure systems.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to facilities engineers, technicians, and contractors.
• Oversee operation, maintenance, and reliability of critical facility systems.
• Develop and optimize preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Lead infrastructure upgrades, capacity expansions, and commissioning projects.
• Ensure safety, OSHA/Electrical safety compliance, and audits.
