Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Associate Director Construction Estimator to lead estimating services across key Data Center projects and client accounts. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, or related field.
• Graduate degree preferred in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant estimating experience in the construction industry.
• Experience providing conceptual estimating and/or pre-construction services at a construction management or related firm.
• Strong presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of estimators, providing cost consultancy services for construction projects.
• Implement best practices for estimating processes and methodologies.
• Specialize in conceptual estimating within the estimating domain, offering expert guidance to team members.
• Mentor and coach estimators, fostering professional development.
• Provide reporting on key performance indicators and presentations to stakeholders.
• Perform cost risk analysis and input into value engineering; negotiate final accounts.
• Develop White Paper market reports for construction cost management.
• Manage internal systems for purchase orders, invoicing, and risk management.
• Lead business development and opportunities tracking within the region.
