Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Jeffersonville, OH is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical data center facilities including diesel generators, UPS, PDUs, CRAC units, chillers, and cooling towers. The role requires on-site presence with potential shifts up to 12 hours and travel between sites.

You will be part of a diverse team ensuring 99.999% uptime, supporting safety, security, and efficient operations for AWS infrastructure worldwide.

Qualifications

2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance.
2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack‑level events within internal SLA.
Perform rack installs and decommissioning within internal SLA.
Perform PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
Technical writing to support change management program.
