Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical data center facilities, including standby diesel generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, and cooling systems, to ensure 24/7 reliability.

You will join a diverse team and support safety, security, and efficient operations across multiple AWS data centers, with possible travel to different sites and on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment per SLA.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and EPMS; assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events.
• Perform PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
