Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to help maintain and troubleshoot mission‑critical data center facilities.

You will work hands‑on with electrical and mechanical systems, including generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, cooling systems, and fire/life safety equipment across multiple sites. In this role, you will perform rounds, monitor BMS/EPMS, execute PMs, and assist with change management.

Qualificações

• 2+ years electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
• Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and EPMS.
• Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack events within SLA.
• Perform rack installs and decommissioning within SLA.
• PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of equipment.
• Technical writing to support change management.
• Manage daily work requests from conception to completion.
• On-site support of contractors and vendors per procedures & local law.
• Shift lengths up to 12 hours; rotation and on-call possibilities.
• Role may support more than one location/site.
