Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Boardman, Oregon is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to keep mission-critical facilities running with 24/7 uptime. You will perform hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance on stand-by generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, and cooling systems.

You will monitor BMS/EPMS, troubleshoot events, support project work from conception to completion, and coordinate with contractors on-site while complying with safety and local regulations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 1+ years of data center or mission critical facilities experience
• High school or equivalent diploma
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience

Responsabilités

• Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS)
• Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within SLAs
• Perform PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment
• On-site support of contractors and vendors
